Henry B.B. Foong MBBS (Mal), FRCP (Edin), FAMM
Dr. Henry Foong Boon Bee is one of Malaysia’s leading experts in both general and cosmetic dermatology, and currently the founding Chairman of Chapter of Dermatology of Malaysia and the past President of Dermatological Society of Malaysia.
He graduated with an MBBS degree from University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. He completed his housemanship at Hospital Ipoh and subsquently did his internal medicine and dermatology training at the University Hospital (UMMC) and Department of Dermatology, Hospital Kuala Lumpur, followed by clinical training at St. Thomas’s Hospital, London, England, Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Scotland and at the SkinCare Physicians of Chestnut Hill, Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
Dr Henry Foong is a consultant dermatologist at Foong Skin Specialist Clinic, Ipoh, Malaysia and is visiting dermatologist at Fatimah Hospital, Ipoh. He is Board (NSR) certified in both Dermatology and Internal Medicine. He is a Member of the Dermatology Specialty Subcommittee (Evaluation) of the MMC, past Chief Editor of the Malaysian Journal of Dermatology,) and was on the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Dermatology. He was frequently invited to speak at national and international conferences and has published many papers in peer-reviewed journals both locally and internationally.
Henry’s main interests are laser surgery, teledermatology and medical education.

News
We have moved to a new premise with effect from 20th February, 2017. It is now located at 2-13, Jalan Kamaruddin Isa, Fair Park, 31400 Ipoh. Our new telephone number is 05-5417648. The new location is just several yards from the old clinic.
Academics and Research
We are actively involved in academic activities, clinical research, and writing and editing books, atlases, journals and online dermatological education.
In the past we have had medical students and graduate doctors both locally and overseas attached to our clinic for clinical experiences, and we are involved in dermatological societies nationally and internationally as elected and appointed committee members, scientific program committee in national and world congresses of teledermatology, editor of the national dermatological journal, program director in a global virtual grand rounds and course director of national and international scientific meetings. In November 2007 we organised an international dermatology meeting in Penang "East meets West: the Art and Science of Dermatology."
Our involvement in these academics and research allows us to provide the best and latest medical advances for our patients.
